Epic Adventure to the African Pride Lands

The Marilyn Rodman Theatre for Kids program generously donated 25 tickets for HOPe Weekend Program children to enjoy The Lion King at the Boston Opera House. This night held extra special significance as The Lion King was the first performance at the newly restored Boston Opera House 15 years ago and one of the first buy-outs in Marilyn Rodman Theatre for Kids history.

A tribute was made in memory of Don Rodman with dimmed marquee lights prior to the start of the show — a Broadway tradition. The Marilyn Rodman Theatre for Kids program endeavors to broaden the horizons of at-risk youth and foster a lifelong appreciation of performing arts by exposing kids to live, professional theatre.
