Whether they are getting out into the community through weekend Adventure Club, learning independence and life skills in Cooking Class, Snack & Chat or our Adult DayHab Program, or simply sharing the joy of a sleepover with friends at Overnight Respite, we believe the work we do is changing lives.

Giving Opportunities

Annual Campaign

HOPe’s Annual Campaign is the main source of support for our operating budget. HOPe strives to provide programs at the lowest possible cost to families, and offers robust financial support for families in need. All gifts to the Annual Campaign are tax deductible in the year they are made. A special way to give is to make a donation in honor or memory of someone you hold dear. Or consider making your Annual Campaign donation recurring on a monthly or annual basis.

Annual Events

Each spring, we come together as a community to celebrate and support the families of HOPe in a fun evening event. Purchase tickets to attend with family and friends, take advantage of one of our many sponsorship opportunities, raise your paddle in our live auction or advertise in our program.

TEam HOPe

HOPe is proud to participate in the Boston Marathon as a charity team. Join Team HOPe as a runner or support Team HOPe through individual donations or corporate partnerships.

Recurring gifts

While may donors choose to make one-time donations, others find that setting up a recurring giving plan better suits their needs and their desire to provide a reliable and low-cost source of income of HOPe. Recurring contributions can be scheduled monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually and may continue indefinitely or until a specified pledge is fulfilled. Gifts of stock

Gifts of securities may be hand delivered or electronically transferred to HOPe. If you have held a stock for more than one year, you may take a charitable tax deduction for the market value of the stock and avoid capital gains taxes when it is sold. Your financial advisor will guide you to determine if a gift of stock is the right option for you. Contact the Development Office to let us know of your intended gift.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Double the impact of your gift with a matching corporate contribution. Check with your human resources department to see if they match employees’ charitable contributions and whether retirees are eligible for this benefit.

United WAy

Many employers offer giving campaigns through United Way using payroll or paper pledging. Simply list “House of Possibilities, N. Easton, MA” on paper form or online Agency Designation “Yawkey House of Possibilities” agency code: 61630.

Major Gifts & Planned Giving

Many families appreciate designating their gift for specific items or programs which have special meaning for them, such as helping to fund a new service, supporting the continued professional development of our staff, or ensuring the sustainability of HOPe into the future.
