Cookout 6/25/2025

HOPe would like to extend a big thank you to our summer cookout 2025 host, Auburn Construction! HOPe members from Boston and Easton came, along with staff,  Auburn employees and other community members to enjoy burgers, hot dogs, clam chowd-ah, and more. 

This event was hosted outside in our pavilion, and the summer heat kicked in for a beautiful, if not hot, day with friends and food. The heat did not stop everyone from showing up and having a great time, and as Justina, a Boston member said, “Lots of people come to the barbecue, and have fun together. I love it and I can see my Easton friends.” Having the opportunity to bring both locations together shows how strong our community here at HOPe really is, and how far it reaches. 

To end the event, HOPe supplied water balloons to help everyone cool off and let loose! Giovanni, an Easton member shared, “One thing I love about this event is I got soaking wet because it’s 95 degrees and I don’t do good in the heat!” Everyone who wanted to partake in the water games stayed outside, and any members or staff who wanted to avoid the line of fire stayed cool in the AC inside the House of Possibilities. All in all, it was a fantastic day filled with laughter, connection, and community spirit. It wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing partners at Auburn Construction. Thank you!
