$5 Million Grant Received from Yawkey Foundation to Expand Easton Campus
We are thrilled to announce a $5 million grant from Yawkey Foundation that will allow HOPe to transform our facilities at Stonehill College in Easton and the services we provide there. The funding will support the construction of a new 15,000-square-foot facility and renovations to the existing 11,000-square-foot Yawkey House. These enhancements will more than double HOPe’s program space and allow us to serve more individuals and families across Southeastern Massachusetts.
In recognition of the contribution and the Foundation’s transformative, ongoing generosity and support, HOPe will rename the Easton complex as the “Yawkey Campus.” The expanded Yawkey Campus will offer a dynamic new environment with specialized spaces including a commercial training kitchen, community gathering areas, an art and design studio, a jobs lab, and a music and recording studio.
“Words can’t express the full extent of our gratitude to Yawkey Foundation for this transformational gift and its ongoing embrace of our organization for nearly two decades,” said Katie Terino, President & CEO.
Construction, led by Auburn Construction and designed by Piatt Associates, is expected to be completed by Summer 2026. In addition to expanded services, the project will foster collaboration among small and emerging disability service providers, positioning HOPe as a leader in innovation and community integration.
