Another Successful Summer Celebration for HOPe Young Professionals Group

HOPe held its annual summer event for our Young Professionals Group (YPG) on Wednesday August 6 at the Flight Club in Seaport! One of the biggest events of the year for HOPe’s YPG group, this summer celebration gives young professionals the chance to network and learn more about how they can support HOPe’s mission of supporting the disability community.

Throughout the night, our young professionals had the opportunity to hear from a number of HOPe representatives. Lynn Page Flaherty, HOPe’s newly hired CAO spoke about her experience so far with HOPe, and Erin Lynch, HOPe’s Gift Officer and Communivations Manager, also highlighted upcoming opportunities to get involved, including the Doug Flutie Jr. 5K and sponsorship opportunities for Big Night Out, one of HOPe’s most celebrated events.

Alex Ferris, a longtime supporter of HOPe and member of the YPG board, also spoke to the young professionals about the importance of community and how we all experience transitions, whether it’s navigating the transition from the role of student to employee, raising a family, or supporting a loved one with disabilities. Everyone goes through transitional periods in life where meaningful support can make all the difference, and HOPe’s mission is to make sure individuals with disabilities receive the support they need to be successful during these times and beyond.

The YPG summer event was a huge success thanks to all the young professionals who decided to spend their night networking and supporting HOPe.
