Inclusion in Action at the Best Buddies Friendship Walk

On Saturday, October 18, 2025, House of Possibilities (HOPe) joined in the Best Buddies Boston Friendship Walk at the Schrafft City Center in Charlestown, MA—a celebration of friendship, inclusion, and community for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

HOPe was a sponsor for the walk. The event provided a wonderful opportunity to engage with families, partners, and advocates who share the same vision of creating a more inclusive world.

The Stonehill College Best Buddies, once again emerged as one of the event’s top fundraisers. Their continued leadership and enthusiasm reflect a strong commitment to building friendships and opportunities that make a lasting difference.

Each step taken and every dollar raised supports Best Buddies programs that foster meaningful friendships, inclusive employment, and leadership development for individuals with IDD. The event drew participants from across the region for an afternoon of music, laughter, and connection, all united by the goal of building a world where everyone belongs. Together, HOPe and our Best Buddies partnerships continue to champion inclusion—one friendship, one step, and one connection at a time.
