
Michelle Micone is the Vice President of Innovation and Strategic Initiatives at The Boston Globe. She has extensive experience in sales and marketing with a general management background across multiple industries – professional sports, licensing and entertainment, toys and packaged goods. Prior to joining the Globe, she was the Head of Consumer Products at the National Football League, where she led the expansion of the NFL’s brands into new and expanded categories. Before that, Michelle held a variety of leadership positions over a 17-year career at Hasbro in Rhode Island. She held leadership roles in licensing and global brand strategy, bringing merchandise and experiences to market for Hasbro's portfolio of brands. Prior to that, Michelle worked in brand marketing and market research at the Walt Disney Company and Procter & Gamble. She is a graduate of UCLA and received her MBA from Northeastern's D'Amore-McKim Business School.
