St. Gerard Majella Parish, Canton

We have an amazing partnership with St. Gerard’s. Every year, their youth group volunteers at the House of Possibilities and participates in our social programs and Day Habilitation programs for adults and teens. Every month, up to 30 teens from their youth group arrive to enhance these programs. They have participated in the carnival outside of HOPe and participated in scavenger hunts at Stonehill College. We are grateful for the wonderful youth group at St. Gerard’s who prove to be an amazing group of teens who act with hope, faith and community.

DCF Kids Fund

Caring for a child with special needs is a round-the-clock challenge 365 days a year. We believe every child deserves a beautiful Holiday with presents under a tree. Consequently, for the past four years, we have partnered with DCF Kids and provided presents for families who demonstrate financial need and have a child with special needs and/or confirmed abuse. The staff at the House of Possibilities and our amazing volunteers and donors work collectively to ease the pain of 100 families by donating the requested list of immediate needs. HOPe’s sincerest desire is to be a blessing to the whole family.

Temple Sinai, Sharon

For the past three years, volunteers from Temple Sinai have volunteered their services during Mitvah Day, a day of social action. Mitzvah Day, a day meaning ‘good deed’ and dedicated to social action. Temple Sinai does a number of Social Action projects throughout the year. In the Spring, they bring the entire congregation together to participate in the holy task of tikkun olam. These outstanding volunteers selflessly update and perform maintenance tasks that keep HOPe safe and in top quality condition.  We are filled with gratitude over their commitment to helping us bring a beautiful environment to the family at HOPe.

“The DCF Kids Fund is very grateful for our wonderful partnership with The House of Possibilities. At the holiday season, your caring, compassion and outstanding generosity have provided the children we serve from our Brockton Area Office with holiday clothes and gifts to brighten their holiday and give them hope and promise for the New Year. Each child's needs and wishes were taken into consideration and your staff went above and beyond to make each child feel cared about and remembered at the holiday season. This helps to build each child's self-esteem and feelings of pride. Thank you for your beautiful spirit of giving which is greatly appreciated by our staff and the children alike. Your continued partnership means the world to us!!! ” - Prevelance of Violence
