Autumn is my favorite time of year. It brings forth new beginnings as we watch the leaves fall and winter join us. I look forward to the holidays and the time we spend together at family gatherings. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my imperfect family all under one roof.

Mother’s Day is a day to celebrate all that you have accomplished, all that you have endured, and all that you have and will experience by being a Mother. The days that my three sons were born were undeniably the three best days of my life.

Fall 2014 Newsletter

This Thanksgiving season, I reflect on all that we have accomplished together. This year marks our 5 year anniversary. It could not have happened without all of you. We have worked tirelessly to establish a new paradigm of support for families caring for a child with developmental disabilities. I am delighted to announce that we are the largest privately funded overnight respite provider in Massachusetts. Currently, we offer respite four Saturdays a month, which puts the “oxygen mask” back on families and affords time to relax, regroup and recharge and take care of themselves, their other children, and other family members.

Spring 2014 Newsletter

During the month of May, a day is set aside to celebrate mothers. We honor their  boundless love, their desire to shape our experiences, their readiness to introduce us to the beauty of our world and their ability to teach us the lessons that will create our moral fiber. Mothers innately know their children’s talents and in their hearts, they know their frailties as well. Mothers help their children understand themselves in a way that embraces both their strengths and their limitations.

Fall 2013 Newsletter

In April, we witnessed the unthinkable- the bombing of the Boston Marathon. The city pulled together in amazing ways, refusing to be cowed. "Boston Strong " became the rallying cry. Boston Strong got me thinking about strength in a new way. We were all changed forever as we witnessed this ruthless act and its aftermath.
