In September 2016, the House of Possibilities was accredited by CARF for a period of three years. A three year accreditation is the highest certification level an organization can achieve. This achievement is an indication of HOPe’s commitment to excellence and its dedication to improving the quality of life for persons served.
Department of Early Education & Care
In July 2017, the House of Possibilities renewed a full two year license from the Department of Early Education and Care. This fulfills HOPe’s primary mission to provide high quality respite services to children with special needs. The Overnight Respite program is the culmination of many years of planning and preparation and has been a lifeline for families needing respite from round-the-clock-care.
Department of Developmental Services, Licensure and Certification
In June 2016, the House of Possibilities achieved a score of 91% and earned a two-year license from the Department of Developmental Services. A two-year license is the highest obtainable through the Department. HOPe was recognized for its continued success for individualizing services for the people supported. The longevity of staff and the collaborative relationships developed with families over time was identified as a continued strength of the agency.
